
PostNL delivery
Currently, several customers are experiencing Gunderwear problems with the delivery of their parcel. They receive a message from PostNL that their parcel has been delivered to the mailbox while this is not the case.
I understand very well how frustrating it is to hear that a package is reported as delivered while it is not there. This is not a mistake by PostNL, but a method they use during busy periods. At the depot, packages are already scanned as delivered, so that the postmen do not have to scan at the door. With the aim of being able to deliver more packages in the same time. PostNL processed more than 3 million packages last Monday, a record number that they have never had to process before.
Although this process is more efficient for delivery, it can cause confusion if a package has not yet actually been delivered. Fortunately, experience, also from previous years, shows that packages eventually arrive. PostNL indicates that these packages are usually still delivered within a few days.
I really appreciate your patience and find it truly annoying that this is happening. I will continue to raise this issue with PostNL in the hope that they will continue to improve their processes.
